It is found primarily in two forms: 1) trivalent (chromium 3+), which is biologically active and found in food, and 2) hexavalent (chromium 6+), a toxic form that results from industrial pollution. Dr. Womack is excited to announce that Dr. Gregg Lucksinger and Valerie Calaway, RN, FNP-C have joined Westlake Medical Arts. They all have many years of experience in both conventional and integrative medicine. Gregg and Valerie compliment our existing practice, bringing additional personalized care for our patients. They see patients with a variety of medical needs, including thyroid and hormonal issues, gastrointestinal problems, detoxification, nutritional IV therapies and much more.
